1st ENERMED Training Session (Energy in the Mediterranean) organised by OME. 

The objective of the ENERMED training program is to give participants new insight on the new energy context of the Mediterranean (fields, actors, institutional framework, risks, perspectives, etc.). Basic data on the development of energy fields, the stakes relative to energy efficiency and the issue of climate change will also be broached upon.

Speakers will be alternatively members of the OME team and external consultants.

Each session will be an opportunity for participants to establish contacts with colleagues from other member companies (a network of OME executives).

This event is the Final Conference of the european MEDRES Project, of which OME is the general coordinator.

All Technical Committees (Hydrocarbon, Electricity,Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, Financing and Cooperation & Partnership Committee) will be convened for an exceptionnal week at OME head quarters to relaunch their studies for 2009.

A Meeting of the Executive Committee will take place in Barcelona, following the Euro-Mediterranean Energy Forum.
